Actually, the trip was a little bit of a disappointment. Mostly, because it felt like we were leaving just as we got there. Technically, we had about 48 hours over three days … but really, we had one full day. Further, it rained when we got there and the day we left. Still, we did some shopping, we had some great meals, and Lisa got to speak with the manager of the local Cape Cod Crafter’s. So, it was nice to get away and the trip was a business success. I think, it would be nice to spend more time next time. Lisa suggests at least four (4) days … that sounds more reasonable.

As for CCC, well things could hardly have turned out better. Not only was the manager interested in Lisa’s products, but knows of two vendors who are moving out in just over a month. Lisa will be able to get a nicely placed booth, in one of the highest trafficked stores, just in time for Christmas! Oh, and we brainstormed some cool new product ideas … so, good things are brewing.

BTW: Lisa & I have come up with an ingenious Halloween costume for me to wear this coming weekend. I am not going to say what (certain parties involved read this BLOG) … but I should have some pictures afterwards.

I am keeping two (2) projects of mine, secret, until I go back to Michigan to visit. Once there, I will reveal (in full gory detail) what I have been working on for the last month. We’re not talking world shattering, or anything like that … but, some cool results none-the-less. Stay tuned, you may be pleasantly surprised.
