Thursday was a bum day
October 1st, 2009I had a doctor’s appointment this morning, which meant a blood draw, X-Ray, and then exam. Everything is OK … for the most part. Apparently my thyroid is a little swollen … so I need to figure out what that means, if anything. I have a follow-up appointment to get the blood test to see if this is something that needs to be taken care of or not.
At work I received some mildly disappointing news. I can’t go into details, but it was enough to throw me off for the remainder of the afternoon. By the time I got home I was so tired I just wanted to crash. Instead, I had dinner with Lisa and watched an old NCIS. Then we turned the TV off and talked for a bit – then I went to bed. With 9 1/2 hours for sleep, I should be feeling much more myself, tomorrow.
